Description
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN “GREATEST HITS – THE UNCUT OUTTAKES” – Limited, numbered edition of 108 copies. Colored vinyl.
180g vinyl
A limited-edition double vinyl collection featuring studio rehearsals, outtakes, alternate versions, and improvisations from the recording sessions for the previously unreleased tracks included on Bruce Springsteen’s “Greatest Hits” album, released by Columbia/Sony in 1995.
The material, which until now had circulated primarily within private circles, includes multiple takes of “Blood Brothers” (among them an extended version lasting over six minutes with Springsteen on rhythm guitar, another with a calypso-inflected approach, and a third featuring slide guitar), a version of “High Hopes” with an almost whispered vocal performance, an incomplete version of “Secret Garden,” and a rendition of “Back In Your Arms Again” featuring vocals and subtle drum accompaniment.
